MY BACKGROUND AND TRAINING

After many years of school and training at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital, and UCLA Medical Center, I began practicing as an anesthesiologist and interventional pain management specialist. Throughout my career I have taken care of many patients with chronic pain, depression, anxiety disorder, fibromyalgia, PTSD, CRPS, and I am sensitive to their needs. I also have extensive anesthesia experience with pediatric patients, critically ill patients, trauma, and high risk obstetrical patients. I have gained expertise in performing regional anesthesia blocks under guided ultrasound for complex orthopedic surgical procedures. My greater than fifteen years of experience and my extensive medical knowledge combined with an ongoing curiosity to learn about the latest advances in medicine define my success in the medical field. I currently hold hospital privileges in the Cottage Hospital Health system in Santa Barbara County and Saint John's Hospital in Santa Monica, CA.
